Terms are C.O.D. or terms for established accounts in good credit standing. For custom-made orders, a 50% Pre-Paid DEPOSIT is required to confirm order.
Payments can be made by checks, certified bank checks, money orders, major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or Discovery Card), or cash. There is a $30.00 service charge for any checks returned by the bank for non-payment. If a deposit is requested, deposit must be paid prior to ordering supplies and / or production commencement. Final payment plus applicable sales tax are due upon completion of the order. It is implied that Custom Plastics, Inc. has accepted any deposit as security and as proof that the buyer wants to enter into the order / purchase arrangement. Any orders changes may be adjusted on a final invoice.
Shipping is FOB Custom Plastics, Inc. dock. Shipping quotes, at customer’s expense and risk can be provided.
All cancellations must be received in writing, email or via Facsimile; and confirmed by Custom Plastics. Customers that cancel orders after Custom Plastics, Inc. begins processing order, will forfeit the deposit and may be billed up to the remaining balance, depending on the amount of work completed, or supplies ordered. All goods will remain the property of Custom Plastics, Inc. until paid in full.
Each acrylic coffee table is made to order to exact requirements and typically requires 2 to 4 weeks for delivery.
Acrylic is a transparent thermoplastic used as a lightweight or shatter-resistant alternative to glass. Not technically a type of glass, it has been called acrylic glass. The material was developed in 1928 under the trademark Plexiglas®. Acrylic has since been sold under many different names, including Acrylite® and Lucite®.
